Music career

Performing since he was a child, James first performed as an eight-year-old and quickly developed into a powerful singer-songwriter. Being discovered as a ten-year-old, James signed his first record deal as a thirteen-year-old with Universal Music Group. He released his first album, Reviewing The Situation, aged fifteen in 2004.[1]

Following the successful release of his first album, James attracted the attention of some of the worlds leading producers. Moving to New York, James teamed with renowned producer Jay Newland, who co-produced the Norah Jones album Come Away With Me. Working with Newland, James produced his second album Ten Songs About Love, released on 6 October 2007. It has reached #43 on the ARIA charts.

Erans talent earned him a spot as the opening act for Sir Elton John's Australian tour, which began in November 2007.

Elton put Eran on the road, supporting Elton's sellout Aussie tour. Audiences fell for the teenager with the God-given voice and Elton asked Eran what he wanted.

"I want to play and write and sing songs that come from my life, my heart and my experiences and which will touch the lives of others. Maybe to heal, maybe to provoke a reaction.""

Elton brought Eran back to London with him in 2008. He was all set to take the usual routes into commercial music but he wanted to give Eran a say in things for the first time. What Eran said was surprising

"I want to get a job, get a flat, experience another version of real life and start to write about life"

Eran says...

"Elton has been a huge help to me. He gave me confidence in my own songs. He kept faith with me. He told me that he only started to find himself when he and Bernie Taupin stopped trying to write hits and started trying to write great songs"

Two years later Eran is back in Australia with 40 songs about life, love and death under his belt and a passion for moving people with songs.

Eran has been working with Grammy award winning producer Robin Millar.
